Header Tags
Header tags are used on web pages to isolate sections of content and establish visual hierarchies. They pass in the order of track 1 (H1), from channel 2 (H2) to track 6 (H6). These types of tags do not appear in the SERP, but are essential for calculating your site’s ranking.
In the past, each page could only have one H1 tag (similar to titles). However, this is no longer the case when using HTML5. This latest version of the markup language removes some limitations and provides search engines with much more contextual information they can rely on.
HTML5 allows you to create multiple H1s per page by adding article tags. You can now break up your site into multiple “articles”, each with a unique title tag that tells search engines that these sections can be considered separate.
